Where to Find a Great Clarifying Shampoo

If you are particular about having squeaky clean, healthy and shiny hair (and who isn't?) it's a good idea to try washing your hair with a clarifying shampoo. You will find that phrase "clarifying shampoo" on many shampoo bottles at drugstores, and next time, you should probably look a little closer!

I have tried washing my hair with a lot of different hair care products over the years. Mostly because I love feeling clean, and also because I get bored of scents that I'm too used to. Here are some of my favorite clarifying shampoo products. Listen closely!

Herbal Essences Clarifying/Residue Removal Shampoo is suitable for those with normal or oily hair. Your hair and scalp will feel revitalized, energized and rejuvenated (all the good adjectives) after you wash with this shampoo. Not to mention, it will eliminate unpleasant buildup and residue in the hair. Who wants that?  The palm and coconut oils contained within are nourishing and soothing too.

I also love Pantene Pro-V Purity Clarifying Shampoo. This is another shampoo I like to shake things up with. This is another great clarifying shampoo for getting rid of residue, build up and excess oil in the hair. Your hair will feel lightweight, voluminous and refreshed after you try this Pantene shampoo. This is a quality product!

Paul Mitchell Clarifying Shampoo Two is another solid option. This shampoo feels like "spring cleaning" your hair and scalp with its invigorating, fresh lemon fragrance. YUM! This is a good shampoo for removing dullness and leaving your head squeaky clean.

Finally, I love Thermasilk Heat Activating Shampoo. Thermasilk shampoos are usually (or almost always) heat activated, and that in itself is pleasant and comforting. This shampoo improves your hair's condition and texture while deep cleaning and ridding your hair of residue and buildup. Your hair will be easy to manage, healthy and resilient once you start using this fantastic stuff. I always come back to this shampoo.

Now, go your wash your hair, and when you use that as an excuse, it really will be true!
